Class Descriptions

Alexander Technique
Improves alignment, deepens breathing and will enhance mental focus.

Begin Yoga Again
Enjoy beginning again, every day as you allow yourself the opportunity to refresh the body, calm the nervous system, and still the mind. We will focus on classical yoga postures (Asana), breath work (Pranyama) and meditation (Dhyana) that builds strength and vitality.

Broadway Jazz
Workout, sweat and strengthen your body while dancing and learning jazz dance techniques.

Body Sculpting
Shape, define & strengthen your body through resistance, isolation and overload of specific areas.

Bosu
A completely unique and multi-dimensional training device that integrates core and balance training.

Bosu Bar & Glide
Integrates balance training on the Bosu, resistance training of the bar, and gliders to develop core stabilization.

Cardio Craze
Enhances cardiovascular fitness, strength, performance, balance and coordination.

Core Power
Focuses on core strength exercises, mixed with upper and lower body endurance exercises to create a continual intense workout, bringing your body to the next level of fitness.

Core / Strength Fusion
A combination of balance, strength, flexibility and Pilates based mat exercises.

Dance Cardio
A high energy, high impact workout blend of endurance conditioning and dance. No dance experience required

Duel
This class is not for the faint of heart. With a workout partner (or come in solo), motivate and push each other through athletically based drills designed to build strength and cardiovascular training through the use of proper form in a partner based environment.

Endurance Spin
A more advanced Spinning class workout that is done on the stationary "Spinning" bike.

Fight Club
A non-stop aerobic program that incorporates authentic Martial Arts techniques. No experience needed, but must be in shape.

Mat Pilates I
A mind/body conditioning technique combing yoga with western calisthenics.

Mat Pilates II
A more advanced Pilates class combing yoga with western calisthenics.

Morning Warrior
For the early risers who like to get a strong morning pump. Energize your day with this high intensity cardiovascular and strength training class focusing on proper form and athletic drills. Bring water, a towel and be prepared to sweat!

Morning Workout
Start your day with a mild aerobic workout followed by a relaxing stretch. This class is great for the active mature adult.

Restorative Yoga
yoga props support your body, allowing you to relax your mind.

Sculpt & Tone
This class is the next level of "Body Sculpting" class.

Sharqui Belly Dancing I
Fusing the body-loving and soul stimulating elements from the art form of belly dance with the burn that an aerobic workout can offer.

Sharqui Belly Dancing II
Intermediate and advanced Sharqui technique. Must have one year of Sharqui Belly dance experience.

Spinning
Incorporate visualization in this intense, guided workout on a stationary "Spinning" bike. Must sign up at front desk.

Soul Aerobics & Bosu
Incorporate funky moves with soulful music to get your body groovin'. The class ends with exercises on the Bosu to target abs and balance.

Stretch It Out
Increase flexibility and decrease stress while you relax and stretch your muscles. Proper alignment is emphasized.

Stretch & Strengthen
Apply a variety of techniques including ab, back & stretch exercises, as well as slow impact movements to achieve greater level of strength, balance & range of motion.

Super Stretch
Combine the elements of yoga, dance & short stretches to increase mobility & flexibility. This class suits all levels of fitness from beginner to advanced.

T'ai Chi Basics
Practice slow, fluid ancient Chinese movements in a state of relaxes alertness to improve balance, increase circulation, strengthen bones and release tension. Open to all levels.

T'ai Chi Form
A more advanced T'ai Chi class focused on learning the Ylang Style Long Form.

Theatre Jazz (Cardio Swing)
A blend of theater dance, jazz, swing & jitterbug choreographed with a cardio base both in contemoporary and period styles.

Vinyasa Floa Yoga
Is a vigorous style of Yoga which emphasizes the constant dance of breath linked with movement. Engaged in this moving meditation, practitioners will build strength, increase flexibility, receive a great cardio-respitory workout, and experiate cleansing. Be prepared to swear!

Yoga Awakening
Start your day on the right foot with this class to help get your blood flowing.

Yoga Stretch
Unblock your energy with a gently yoga stretch.
