25 Aug: Small Group Training – Boxing Pad Work Starting Sept. 7th

Our 4 week program on Boxing Pad Work will begin September 7th.  This class welcomes boxers of all levels for boxing-based combinations.  We focus on gility, speed, and power, with and emphasis on mitt work.  The class also involves some strength and conditioning work.

25 Aug: Small Group Training – Self Defense Starting Sept. 6th

MPHC is starting it’s 4 week Small Group Training in Self Defense on September 6ht, 2023.  This class will focus on mindset, situational awareness, as well as understanding techniques, movement and remaining calm in tense situations to de-escalate and get away.  Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

If you’re looking for a more structured workout, try practicing with MPHC’s early morning swim team. Not only is it used for competitive training, but also as a fitness regime. We will develop a training routine designed to fit your lifestyle, experience and physical abilities. Suitable for swimmers of all levels, the only course requirement is the capability to swim four lap lengths (100 yds).

Swim Club Coach Jim Diapola is a successful high school, college and top ten master swimmer. He has coached in California and Connecticut and leading the MPHC swim team for over a decade. In addition, he also books one on one sessions with members to improve their swimming technique, strength and endurance in the four basic competitive strokes.
